Chris focuses his practice in commercial real estate, where he represents organizations involved in the development, construction and financing of commercial properties, as well as the sale and acquisition of all types of real estate developments. Chris has significant experience in all facets of multifamily and industrial development, and routinely represents developers in the hotel, office and retail spaces. Chris also has extensive experience in the area of economic development, including issues related to public finance, incentives and public projects. His practice also includes representation of landlords and tenants in the preparation and negotiation of commercial leases.
Prior to forming Atkinson Ferguson, LLC, Chris practiced for many years with a large law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Chris previously served in leadership positions within the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. Chris was twice named as a Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star. He is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of North Carolina.
